CVT20 - DV Power Voltage Booster / Extension Transformer

CVT20 is an additional module that in combination with TRT500 turns ratio testers is ideal for testing the turns ratio of the capacitive voltage transformer. This module is actually an external voltage booster that increases TRT’s output voltage to 5 kV AC.

CVT20 and TRT500 together provide the high voltage that is needed to measure accurately the ratio of the capacitive voltage transformers.

The combination of the TRT500 turns ratio tester and CVT20 is also used for checking the polarity of the capacitive voltage transformers.
